Racial Trauma/Racial Identity development

Racial trauma, like all traumas, disconnects us from the truth of who we are, fragments our identity and plays mental warfare with our ability to develop a positive and healthy sense of self. My work concentrates on exploring the internalized messages of oppression and racism that have kept one from moving forward in their lives. While challenging old stories that have never served us, I assist clients in rediscovering their ancestral legacy of resiliency and strength. Additionally, we delve into current experiences of empowerment to orient you to a more accurate narrative about who you are, individually and collectively. I focus on teaching and implementing tools of radical self-love, self-care and self-acceptance to dismantle the untruths of racial oppression that have manifested as racial trauma.
